Madison & Spence | Beautiful Summer Outdoor Wedding in Clarksville, AR

Madison & Spence

June 30th, 2018 | Heritage Acres Venue | Clarksville, AR

Where do I even begin to describe just how AMAZING this wedding was! Madison and Spence reached out to me and mentioned that they were going to be getting married in Clarksville, AR at Heritage Acres Venue. Looking at the venue alone made me super excited to be there for them and capture all the details of their beautiful wedding. They mentioned all the unique details they would be incorporating in their wedding such as: a TON of outdoor games and activities to entertain their guests, they would be getting married under an arbor with a beautiful view, they’d have amazing desserts including mini Blizzards from Dairy Queen, and the list goes on. I couldn't have been more excited to capture all these details.

When the day finally arrived, it was the hottest day of the summer, reaching a whopping 100 degrees (not including the humidity). However, everyone was so focused on the couple and the memories being made that the heat was the furthest thing from their minds. Madison and Spence both wrote each other heartfelt letters before they did their first look. They took the time to express their feelings toward each other and exchanged meaningful tokens of their affection. Lets just say tears were shed waaaay before the first look.

It was an emotional first look, and exciting. The venue went above and beyond in their preparations for the wedding, and even drove us to the first look sight in a UTV type vehicle (sorry! totally inaccurate but it was so much fun and was perfect for keeping the bride comfortable before the wedding). As soon as we got there, Spence was waiting for Madison with anticipation. She cautiously walked toward him, and you could sense Spence’s nervous energy! Then, as he turned around to see her for the first time, he was overcome with emotions and couldn’t help but cry. Spence looked like the happiest man alive in that moment (you can see that in the images below). Madison looked so beautiful in her lace wedding dress, wearing the pearls he had given her. He was sporting a custom made wooden watch with a special message engraved on the back from Madison. After a few beautiful shots we were on our way to the ceremony!

Everything went smoothly. They had a breathtaking view as their backdrop and hardly a cloud in the sky. The wedding talk was custom made for Madison and Spence. And in true Disney fashion, a butterfly gracefully landed on Madison’s dress during the ceremony, and I was pretty speechless. When does that even happen!

Needless to say, this wedding was such a fun, beautiful and emotional wedding. After dancing the night away, and hearing emotional, moving toasts from their loved ones, they took off under the light of the sparklers to begin their new adventure!
